Position: Accounting Development Manager

Status: Full Time - 40hrs/week

Responsible for supervising accounting staff that examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records in order to prepare financial statements for multinational publicly listed enterprise. Oversee completion of month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing and account reconciliation in accordance with USGAAP and Japanese statutory GAAP. Supervise senior accountant, accountant, area internal control specialist. Supervision in process of daily Journal Entries, Fixed Assets, Construction in Progress, Credit Card, Federal & State taxes. Facilitation of J-Sox compliance. Meet deadline for financial closings and ensure there is no financial fraud or inappropriate financial activity within the organization. Liaise with parent company in Japanese on various financial and accounting matters on a regular basis to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or closely related
· 2 years of experience in job offered or related (Accounting Manager or related)
· 2 years of experience must include knowledge of US GAAP and Japanese statutory GAAP
· Ability to read, write, and speak Japanese
