Position Summary:
The Marketing Administrator works with a fun an energetic team to create compelling marketing materials and coordinating events/activities for the promotion of the company’s products and brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in executing market strategies and objectives.
2. Creates marketing promotional materials such as displays, literature, website designs, advertising, videos, presentations, press releases, etc., that are visually appealing and on-brand.
3. Review designs for errors before they are printed or published.
4. Maintains company files in an orderly fashion on a secure and confidential company drive.
5. Obtain input from management and make revisions based on feedback, ensuring designs meet business goals, organizational standards, express ideas accurately and follow brand guidelines.
6. Assists with newsletter, direct mail, advertising, catalog, and other promotional editing and proofreading.
7. Assists with ad contracts and placements.
8. Supports the sales, marketing and technical efforts with market research by utilizing external information services including the internet, world wide web, etc. Secures appropriate information and compiles for review.
9. Assists in customer surveys to obtain marketing information about organization’s products and services.
10. Works closely with the sales, marketing and technical functions to plan and coordinate tradeshows and other events. This includes budgeting, scheduling, shipping, setting up and coordinating components.
11. Works with a cross-functional team to develop strong and productive relationships with internal and external partners to execute marketing strategies.
12. Coordinates special projects as determined by manager.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing, graphic design, or related field from four-year college or university.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents and government regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to top management, employees, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

5. Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
6. Experience with video editing programs such as Premier Pro and After Effects.
7. Requires proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, database management and electronic mail.
8. Requires proficiency with several types of operational office equipment.
9. Ability manage time and deliver projects with strict deadlines.
10. Detail oriented. Strong follow-up skills.
