Position: Manager, Area Accounting

Location: Lakewood, NJ 
Status: Full Time Employment

- Manage month end data by extracting from internal systems and importing to HQ’s for reconciliation.
- Handle Nitto Americas’ consolidated tax return and streamline duplicated tax operations among the US Nitto group to ensure consistency and tax compliance.
- Support Nitto America’s J-Sox initiatives.
- Prepare Nitto Americas’ consolidation report, analyze each company’s results, and address any identified variances (actual to budget)
- Gather each company’s KPI’s and analyze them for trends, variances, etc.
- Interface with Nitto Americas’ regional companies to provide guidance/advice on Accounting & Finance operations.
- Manage intercompany expense transactions.
- Manage Americas’ HQ management fee budgeting process.
- Work with Americas’ regional companies and KPMG on (NA) consolidated tax filing.
- Manages Americas’ Accounting systems (Concur expense reporting).

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience;
- Experience working within an ERP system (JDE preferred);
- Audit experience would be a plus;
- Knowledge of J-Sox preferred;
- Comprehensive and practical knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS);
- Strong managerial and leadership skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and detect variances and discrepancies;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- CPA/CMA preferred
