The Nitto Group places ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) at the core of its management, striving to balance the resolution of social issues with the creation of economic value. In line with this management policy, Nitto's partnership activities for the Nitto ATP Finals also included the following initiatives aimed at supporting children's bright futures and contributing to a better society by protecting our planet’s rich environment.
To promote sustainable event operations, Nitto donated 40,320 compostable napkins made from its CAC nonwoven fabric for use in the food courts and other areas of the tournament venue. The venue also featured solar-powered smart trash bins that automatically compact accumulated waste.
Furthermore, as part of the comprehensive Nitto ATP Finals Torino Green Project—an initiative aimed at minimizing the tournament's environmental impact—Nitto has supported various greening activities in Turin throughout the years, using funds from previous charity auctions and Nitto donations. These initiatives include tree planting in the park adjacent to the Inalpi Arena, green-roof projects at tram stations, and the relocation of the plant wall (“The Green Wall”) originally installed at the tournament venue to an elementary school in the city.
For this year’s tournament, local artist MrFijodor collaborated with children from U.G.I. ODV to create the Green Art Wall, using paint that promotes the absorption of CO2 from the atmosphere. This artwork will remain in Turin, contributing to air purification in Turin while serving as a symbol of sustainability gifted by the Nitto ATP Finals to the city.

In cooperation with the Turin-based pediatric cancer patient support group U.G.I. ODV, Nitto invited children supported by the organization— and their families—to attend the Nitto ATP Finals and enjoy the matches.
Nitto also offered opportunities for the children to participate as Mascot Kids, escorting players onto the court before their matches. The company received joyful feedback such as, "I was nervous, but it was fun!" and "Thank you for the moving experience," along with many smiles.
Nitto encouraged donations to UNICEF's Emergency Fund for Natural Disaster, which provides rapid assistance to children affected by sudden natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods. The Nitto Group organized internal initiatives, including an employee matching gift donation campaign, contributing a total of approximately 1.72 million JPY.
The Nitto ATP Finals is the culminating event of the men's professional tennis season, featuring the world’s top eight singles players and doubles teams competing for the season's final titles. Throughout the year, players earn PIF ATP Ranking points to qualify for one of the coveted eight positions in this prestigious indoor tennis tournament. The event adopts a round-robin format in which each player competes in three matches, followed by a knockout stage beginning with the semifinals.
This historic tournament has been hosted in some of the world's leading cities ever since its inaugural event in Tokyo in 1970. It has traveled to major global locations since 2000, including Lisbon, Sydney, Shanghai, and London, before moving to Turin, Italy, where it has been hosted from 2021 onward.
On November 17, 2025, Nitto announced that it has extended its partnership with the ATP and the ATP Finals for an additional five years, through 2030.
