Sales Area Account Manager

Location of employment: Brno, Czech Republic

The function

As a SALES AREA ACCOUNT MANAGER you will: Plan and carry out commercial activities in order to maintain and develop sales towards current and prospect customers. Develop Sanshin activity in order to develop new markets and applications at existing or new customers. Your tasks will be:

  • Visit regularly current and prospect customers in the dedicated area
  • Thoroughly prepare visits in order to maximize chance of success
  • Identify potential needs and make recommendations to customer
  • Make appropriate quotations and follow-up regularly to get orders
  • Organize and conduct discovery discussion with existing and potential customers to identify unmet needs that Nitto could fulfill with its technologies
  • Gather relevant information (3C analysis, technical requirements etc...) to make sure that we have a reasonable chance of success.
  • Communicate with the appropriate colleagues in great details your projects in order to get internal buy-in and appropriate support.
  • Take full ownership of your projects until full completion.
  • Write visit reports after each visit, distribute to appropriate colleagues within the organization.
  • Follow-up on actions expected to be conducted after the visit at customer
  • Write monthly reports (sales, technical and Sanshin) and respect deadlines

Your profile

  • A Master degree with a high interest in technology and commerce is required. Analytical skills are very important to understand customer needs and implications of customer questions on a broader picture.
  • Good mind setting in solving customer cases and problems
  • A strong technical background knowledge as well as a deep interest in exact application requirements is key to identify suitable technical customer solutions
  • Technical product knowledge
  • 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Experience as Area Account Manager in a technical sales/application engineering environment is a must.
  • Knowledge of Czech and English language on working basis
