Company History

1988 Nitto Denko starts up operation in Ohio, under the name Piqua Technologies Inc.
1989 Manufacturing and Converting operations started at 24,000 sq ft plant in Pique, Ohio.
1991 Initial Plant expansion increases total area to 70,000 sq ft.
1995 Plant expanded for 2nd time increasing total area to 104,000 sq ft.
2003 New plant in Jasper, Alabama opened with 50,000 sq ft of area.
2006 Parent company Kyoshin Shoji Ltd. becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Nitto Denko.
2008 Piqua Technologies Inc. changes its name to Nitto Denko Automotive, Ohio, Inc.
2014 Additional warehouse opened in Piqua, Ohio increasing total area in Ohio to 124,000 sq ft.
