Lead-free PVC Tape No. 21 NPB Series
Employs Material with Little Environmental Load
Conventional PVC tape uses lead metallic salt or lead-based pigments as a stabilizer, thus groundwater pollution due to lead elution from discarded tapes is becoming an issue. The No. 21NB Series uses a composite material based on calcium for the stabilizer, and organic pigments are adopted for coloring, making the product completely lead-free.
Halogen-free Semiconductor Sealing Material which Does Not Release Toxic Gas when Incinerated
Achieved Halogen-free Properties with a Special Flame Retardant
Regular halogenated flame retardants release toxic gas when incinerated. Therefore, by using a special metal hydroxide instead of a halogenated flame retardant, Nitto Denko has realized a halogen zero-use product with a flame retardance of UL V-0.
