Introducing a new concept to wound treatment.
Moist wound healing is a treatment option for quickly healing wounds such as burn injuries and pressure ulcer while alleviating pin. The product retains wound exudates (fluid that exudes from the lip of the wound), which contains a large volume of wound-healing ingredients and keeps the wound moist, thereby accelerating the reproduction of epithelial cells. The dressing also acts as a waterproof bacterial barrier and keeps moist wound environment.
These products are wound dressings consisting of a thin, flexible backing, which prevents the entry of bacteria, and an adhesive containing hydrophilic colloid particles that absorb exudates from the wound and form a soft and lasting gel, which helps maintain an optimal treatment environment. The excellent adhesive strength and waterproof properties of the dressings even minimize leakage of the exudates, accidental peeling or slipping-off, and allow the user to take a shower while wearing the dressing. These products are suitable for treatment of wounds that produce moderate amounts exudates.
These thin. Soft and transparent films cover wounds securely to prevent bacterial infection and maintain optimal treatment conditions by retaining the exudates and keeping the wound moist. In addition to incorporating a highly moisture-permeable yet waterproof backing film, these dressings use a remarkably permeable adhesive, and therefore display good permeability and allow the user to shower while wearing the dressing. These products are suitable to enhance healing of mild pressure ulcer and post-surgical sutured wounds with relatively limited exudate.
These padded wound dressing are gentle to both the wound and the surrounding healthy skin. Two types, nonwoven cloth type and film type, are available. The adhesive sheets are highly air-and moisture-permeable. The use of YU-KI adhesive reduces susceptibility to skin irritation of the area surrounding the lip of the wound. These pads are highly moisture absorbent and do not damage the wounds when being changed.
