Medical-surgical products/Wound dressing

Introducing a new approach to wound treatment.
New treatment has conceived an innovative means of treating dermal ulcers, traumas, burns, and bedsores. It was developed to alleviate pain, cure wounds, and help prevent scar formation. These products improve the quality of healing by maintaining a moist wound environment with absorbed wound exudate. Exudate-the liquid that is exuded from wounds and that contains many healing factors-is retained at the wound to accelerate the reproduction of epithelial cells. The dressing also acts as a waterproof bacterial barrier and keeps moist wound environment.

Hydrocolloid dressing

IMG
This "patch-and-heal" medical dressing is effective for intractable ulcers, burns and bedsores. By covering the wound securely, the dressing prevents bacterial infection from the outside, reduces pain and maintains a moist wound environment, thereby enhancing natural healing. The hydrocolloid adhesive layer absorbs the exudates, forming a cushion of soft gel, and helps to keep the dressing firmly in place. The excellent adhesive strength and waterproof property of the dressing even allow the wearer to shower, without risking bacterial invasion, loss of exudate, or accidental peeling or slipping-off.

Translucent dressings

IMG
This thin, soft, and translucent film covers wounds securely to prevent bacterial infection and maintains optimal treatment conditions by keeping the wound moist. In addition to incorporating a highly moisture-permeable yet waterproof backing film, this dressing uses a remarkably permeable adhesive, and therefore permits the wearer to shower without excessive skin maceration. This dressing is suitable for protecting post-surgical sutured wounds and minor bedsores.

Padded wound dressing
Gently protect the wound
Most popular material to protect wound is adhesive sheet with large absorbent pad. It quickly absorbs blood to help stop bleeding. As it uses nonwoven fabric, it does not stick to the wound and easily removed. In addition, the Xtrata products are made with a lipo-gel adhesive, which avoids damage to the horny layer of the skin when you peel off, and it does not cause rash on the skin around the area and gently protects the wound.
