Outline

The tape was developed for protection and banding wire harnesses (electric wire) put up around automobiles. Wide color variation helps easy identification of materials. Until now, adhesive vinyl tapes included lead compound as heat stabilizer, however, Nitto Denko has replaced the lead with calcium-zinc from environmental viewpoint. Further, we made the tape as thin as possible in our effort to reduce halogen.
